Customised with specific options for the Stan Tug 1606 to meet DP world requirements, including Wheel house rope guard protection, additional generator, tire fendering, etc.
The construction started for first two tugs in November 2023 followed by another two sets in January 24, and on the 23rd Jan 2024 we held the traditional keel-laying ceremony for vessels in the presence of esteemed guests from DP World - Mr Abdulla Khalfan - Group Senior Vice President – Procurement of DP World, welded the coin to the keel, marking a significant moment in the vessel's construction.
Also from DP World at the event were Capt. Abdul Jalil Khalid - Director and Harbour Master – Marine, Mr Muhammed Sajeed - Group Vice President – Strategic Sourcing & Contracts and Mr Mohamed Ibrahim Saif Obaid - Senior Supervisor - Control Room; all of whom attended the ceremony.
