As the authorized regional agents for Yanmar Engines, Niigata Engine & Propulsion Systems, Kawasaki Thrusters, MET Turbochargers, MKK / Samgong Purifiers, UE 2-Stroke Engines, HS Marine Cranes, Mitsubishi Deck Machinery, Marflex Pumps, and KEMEL Shaft Seals, our OEM Division continues to deliver reliable spare parts support and high quality technical services across the region.
Our OEM Division is supported by a team of approximately 40 factory-trained technicians, working closely with the Hydraulic and Automation Departments. This integrated structure enables efficient response to customer requirements while maintaining consistently high service standards. As a result of this focused approach, we are proud to report 100% customer satisfaction with zero complaints during 2025, our busiest year ever, helping our customers maximize vessel uptime and operational efficiency.
Yanmar Engines
Albwardy Damen is official Yanmar parts dealer for UAE based customer and offers services to Yanmar engineers globally if required. All our service engineers are trained and certified by Yanmar. The Yanmar OEM Team recorded strong growth during this period in both vessel attendance and spare parts supply. Our authorised service teams supported several container vessels at European ports, completing engine overhauls without disrupting commercial operations. With all required documentation in place, multiple services were efficiently carried out during voyages between Antwerp–Le Havre and Paris. A major milestone was the successful overhauling of multiple Yanmar engines in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, where a specialized team mobilized from the UAE completed the project within the committed timeframe. To support increasing demand, additional engineers completed makerapproved Yanmar training, further expanding our pool of certified engineers and strengthening our ability to execute multiple projects in parallel.
MKK / Samgong Purifiers
Our teams completed numerous service attendances and spare parts deliveries for MKK / Samgong purifiers, ensuring continued operational reliability and optimal performance for our customers’ vessels.
Automation Department
The Automation Department carried out several Integrated Alarm Monitoring System (AMS) retrofit projects, delivered on a turnkey basis from onboard survey and system design through installation and final commissioning.
